Bit of spinach thrown in too, definitely a repeat meal!

First time…too acidic for my taste and that of the missus. What with tomatoes, lemon zest and juice. Second time I reduced the amount of zest, left out the lemon juice and drizzled some cream instead…much more my speed. Highly recommended alternative to a great dish!

Deliciously warming on a grey, rainy day. I threw on a handful of fresh spinach too, as I’m a bit low on iron and taking every opportunity!

The lemon really makes this dish pop! Not a huge fan of the butter beans and think the gnocchi provides enough carba so will probably go with more veg next time.

I’m glad the lemon was a hit, James! Adding more veg sounds like a tasty tweak. Go for it and enjoy your cooking adventure! 🌿🍋

Perfect, quick and easy. Used up plenty of items in the cupboard, only had to buy the gnocci and basil. Changed the stock to beef for a richer flavour (and cause its all I had) Perfect, deffo do again, everyone enjoyed it 💪
