I know bananas are often used in recipes like this (not sure why) but is there an alternative that’s still quite healthy? One of my daughter can smell a banana from a mile off.

Of course, you need something to help bind all of the ingredients together. So something like apple puree/sauce (like this https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/gefen-natural-apple-sauce-pots-6x113g) or mashed sweet potato or pumpkin puree. Hope that helps!
