Great recipe… chicken got crispy and golden with peanut oil but spattered a lot, anyone have a secret how to prevent that?

Sure! You can use a deeper sided pan, obviously don't add the chicken from a great height and use tongs and then keep the oil at a temperature at 160-165°C as this should help with the splattering. Peanut oil is a good one as it has a higher smoke point so shouldn't splatter as much as say olive oil. Hope that helps!

Made this tonight instead of getting a takeaway - super tasty but probably took more like 35/40 mins. Chicken wasn't particularly crispy, wondering if the oil needed to be hotter? Would definitely repeat though.

I used Vegetable oil...and it was not a vibe. I didn't get the crunch. Flavours though...*Chefs kiss* stunning!! Reallllly enjoyed this one!

I used the veg we had in the fridge. Took a bit longer to cook than 20 min. Our 10 year old loved helping to prepare and enjoyed the chicken without the sauce. A win for us 👍

2 large chicken breasts all that was needed to fill a family of 3. Absolutely delicious and easy midweek fakeaway. 👌👌
