Made this last night in the slow cooker and we had it with mash. The bairns absolutely loved it and the hubby didn't mind it either (he usually hates casseroles) I had enough left over to keep some for lunches and put it on top a jacket taty. Getting used to my new slow cooker thing that can also brown things (sausages weren't as browned as I would have liked)

Made this tonight. Husband and kids had the mash, this is mine with a jacket. I couldn’t see the amount of garlic so just added two cloves. A couple of changes were made: I browned the sausages and chucked everything in the slow cooker. I then realised I didn’t have enough paprika so made up the shortfall with sweet, smoked paprika instead and I don’t think anything was really lost. All in all a winner!
