I wanted to put this on whilst at work but that’s over 5 hours - can you let the sauce go cold and then add the lamb and leave in the oven to come on automatically?? Thanks

You can let the sauce cool, add the lamb shanks, then set to bake when you're back - don't leave in the oven when off though. Or, use a slow cooker to keep it safe, maybe?

Was a hit. I'm not a fan of chickpeas but went with it and was pleasantly surprised. The naans where a huge hit my wife and daughters absolutely loved them. I added an onion cucumber tomato and mint salad .

I have a whole slow cooked leg of lamb that didn’t get used for Sunday lunch last week as my daughter went into labour! It’s currently in the freezer. Could I use that in this recipe 🤔

Congratulations!! Absolutely, defrost your slow-cooked leg of lamb first, then add during the simmer stage to blend flavors! You can chop or shred it to spread throughout your Rogan Josh too.

Can you substitute the lamb shanks for anothe cut of lamb?

Absolutely, Ethan! You can swap the lamb shanks for lamb shoulder or leg — they'll be just as tender and flavorful!
