Healthy lasagne

This Healthy Lasagne is a lighter take on a classic comfort food, packed with nutritious ingredients without sacrificing any flavor. The rich and hearty ragu features lean beef mince, combined with diced carrots, celery, shallots (or onion), and garlic for a wholesome, veggie-loaded base. A dash of Worcestershire sauce, herbs like oregano and thyme, and a can of chopped tomatoes bring the depth of flavor that makes lasagne so comforting. Optional black beans add a boost of fiber and protein. The creamy white sauce is made with butter, milk, and a bit of flour, while nutritional yeast (or cheddar) adds a cheesy, umami richness. Layered with whole wheat or regular lasagne sheets, this dish is a balanced, healthy twist on an Italian favourite, perfect for a family dinner!

Really Tasty had to blitz the beans because my son wouldn’t eat it otherwise but made the sauce really creamy probably would put less special sauce in if I make it again but so tasty

Blitzed beans add great creaminess, Susan! Maybe try halving the Worcestershire sauce next time for a milder taste?
