What is classed as neutral oil? I have read a lot about how bad vegetable oil and seed oil are so what is a better alternative?

So neutral oil is basically to do with the taste - for mayo if you use a stronger tasting oil, it can taint the flavour. So a neutral tasting oil like avocado or ground nut oil would work. You can also try light olive oil which has less flavour than regular olive oil but is still more flavoursome than the neutral oils - just depends on your taste preference really!
