I had some broccoli that needed using up, so I added that. I didn’t have any spare bread, so I missed that out but it was so good I forgot to photograph it - here are the leftovers, plenty for another meal for two :-)

Everyone loved this with Sunday dinner! The breadcrumbs finish it off nicely.

Nice one, Demi! Delighted the Sunday's gone cheesy-scrumptious with the breadcrumb touch!

I’ve called my version ‘Use it up Cauliflower Cheese’. Chorizo was roasted off with the cauli and I cooked off leek, cauli leaves and some kale tops from the garden and made into the cheese sauce. Finished off in the roasting oven of the aga. A definite bubbling gooey extremely tasty Cauliflower cheese and an empty fridge!

Roasting the cauliflower instead of boiling puts this dish into another dimension . The flavour and texture made it the best cauliflower cheese ever, just awesome
